Locking Differential

I was wondering if there was a way to lock the differential in 4 hi? This is good for when you are in very snowy conditions and the low gear ratio doesnt make as much of an impact. has anyone done this? What are the implications?

What I had posted to Sloppynwet's question was a accumulation of their own words to a couple of JGMACHINE's post.

Sloppynwet had at the time a total of three post, the first two of which are copy and pasted below, which could indicate one of two things, "troll" or knows the topic starter.

I was just giving them (he/she) their own type of response right back to their question.

If Sloppynwet's post was to be done in fun (did see one "LOL") cause they know the topic starter JGMACHINE from elsewhere (another forum) then sorry I stuck my nose into it and you had to edit my post.
