H2 Prices

My local Hummer dealer a week ago had 13 H2's on the lot. I wonder if Hummer sales are slowing down or if the dealers are still holding out for near full sticker for them ? Whats it like in your areas ?

Inventories are definitely building. I bought mine back in January and it was still very slim pickings and I paid list (still pains me to admit that). Several dealers in the Philadelphia area that I looked at the time had few, if any available and on the lot. Today if you look at those same dealers, all who at the time claimed they had all incoming sold to customers before they hit the lot, they now have 8-10+ available. I seen a few posts elsewhere on this subject and have seen discount ranging from $1000-$2500 off. If your out looking my guess is the dealer on a first pass will go at list and make all the same claims but with a little pressure will no doubt come up with some discount. Have to believe has the 2003 model year closes down and 2004 H2 and SUT info keeps getting out things will continue to soften.

Best advice is shop around and don't pay a premium anymore, but definitely buy an H2. The truck rocks!

Production has picked up in the last 2 months. My dealer said their allotment was tripled on a monthly basis. They've gone from 4-6 on the lot at one time to 20-25. But, guess what - out of 20 or 25 on the lot, there are still only 4-5 that are not already sold and available for driving.

For Colorado sales, anyway - they are still very, very strong and gonig fast. The truck is awesome. Get one.

Took a test drive at Hummer Village of Norwood (MA) tonight and talked about pricing. They were holding at sticker price. Definately a nice ride! I wish they offered the 8.1 as an option.

One of the local hummer dealers is having a "Red Tag" sale this weekend with $2,000 plus discounts from MSRP!

I was told by two different dealers that the demand for them (at least in the D/FW area) has dropped of considerably...

Both dealers have over 100 unsold H2's on the ground, I think that with the 2004 model just around the corner some deep discounts are just around the corner.
