Question tire carrier

I am looking to get a rear tire carrier and would like to know if anyone out there can make any recommendations or advice.:confused:

You can also pick up an SMA model through Hummer dealers for about $650.

That tire lift site has an electric powererd one for antoher $500 or so as I remember. That's a bit too much IMHO. And I don't mean just the cost.

I have the SMA carrier and it's great. I got it off ebay for $610. They pretty much run on ebay all the time in the $600-700 range.

My dealer wanted $1500 for one. All I can say is there is good money in labor because there is now way it took me more than two full hours to put on.

Haven't seen or heard anyone who owns the tirelift one. Seems interesting and the tire is heavy for one person use. 90lbs

Ebay. I should have known. I heard they were about $650 dollars. I did not realize that you had to go to Ebay to get them for that price.

Too bad you cannot get an H2 through Ebay for the same discount off of dealer pricing! :p
