WTF?

I purchased the vehicle in another city because we do not have a H2 dealer in Laredo. Know that I want to work on it using the warrenty because of the leaky roof they refuse to even work on it. Has anybody else had an issue like this?

Thanx

Mondo,

I was under the impression that somebody was building a Hummer Dealership in Laredo to support the Border Patrol H2's, is that not the case?

On the warranty issue, I can't imagine why they won't even look at it. If you bought it here in San Antonio at Ken Batchelor, you might try giving them a call and see if they can help you. Failing that, calling Hummer Corporate I would think would yield you some service results.

I called Ken Batchelor in SA and they were very helpful. I will be taking it in tomorrow for the repair and given a loaner.

PS
I had not heard about the Hummer Dealership in Laredo, but if that is true, I am a very happy camper.

Thanx again

Good luck with the repair Mondo. If you are ever interested in joining other H2 owners for off-roading or in learning more about your H2, the local group has a website at www.h2southtexas.com.

hey everyone, just wanted to give you the heads up on a small problem with the warranty. most gm dealers are not hummer sales places and for that reason they are not aloud to work on hummers. yes ther are made by gm but the tech's that work on your vehicles have to be trained and have the info about your vehicle to be able to work on it. these resources are not available to all dealerships and not only that, gm will not pay the dealership to work on any vehicle if they are not qualified, ie. you can not take a cadilac to any gm dealership to have work done under warranty. it has to be serviced by an authorized dealer. so check with your local dealership to find out this info before you purchase anything. i only know this because i work at a dealership. hope this clears things up for some. take care
