I just copied this information (see below) from GM employee's web site, thought you may want to see.
Conquest incentive: GM is also making it more enticing for non-GM owners to get into our “gotta have” products by offering a conquest incentive for current owners/lessees of competitive vehicles. This incentive, which runs through July 6, is available on select GM vehicles. Non-GM owners/lessees can get a $1,500 allowance on the CTS (excluding “V” series), SRX and Escalade models or $1,000 on Rainier, Rendezvous, Deville, Malibu, Impala, Monte Carlo, TrailBlazer, TrailBlazer EXT, Bravada, Grand Prix, Vibe and Envoy models. Conquest cash can be used in conjunction with many other offerings; have your conquest prospect see their GM dealer for details.
GM TO THANK CURRENT OWNERS FOR THEIR LOYALTY...
GM has announced its latest marketing initiative, an owner loyalty program that offers current GM owners up to $5,000 customer cash on most 2003 and 2004 GM vehicles. The Owner Loyalty Program cannot be combined with most other GM incentives, and is not available with the employee, dealership and supplier discount programs. It is available on vehicles delivered from June 2 through Aug. 2, 2004 and includes most 2003 and 2004 GM vehicles. Vehicles excluded from this program include Cadillac XLR and CTS-V; Chevrolet Aveo, SSR, Cavalier (select models) and Topkick; GMC Kodiak; Pontiac GTO, Sunfire (select models) and Vibe; and the base level Saturn ION sedan and base level L300.
"With a loyalty rate that leads the auto industry, we are thanking GM owners with a very special and attractive offer in June," said John Smith, group vice president of VSSM. "Add this special offer to the industry's broadest product lineup, award-winning quality and fuel economy leadership in more segments than any other manufacturer and you have an unbeatable value and a great time to buy!"
Do you know a GM owner who is in the market for a new vehicle? Then be sure to let them know about this exciting new program! For more details on the loyalty cash available on eligible vehicles, check out the press release.
For non-GM owners, GM continues to offer very competitive customer cash, APR and lease offers.
U.S. MILITARY OFFER ENHANCED & EXTENDED
GM has enhanced and extended its $750 offer to active members of the U.S. military. The GM Military Purchase Program has been extended through Jan. 3, 2005, and also now includes new 2005 model year Buick, Cadillac, Chevy, GMC, HUMMER H2, Oldsmobile and Pontiac vehicles, in addition to 2003 and 2004 models. As with other private offers, this program can be used in conjunction with most other incentives available from GM. This program is GM’s way of saying “thanks” to the military for always being there.
GM STILL IN THE DRIVEWAY
The successful GM in the Driveway program has been enhanced to make it even easier for you to get friends, neighbors, extended family and other acquaintances into a new GM product! Beginning today, the following updates will apply to the program:
Paper certificates will no longer be needed.
Employees can get instant authorization (up to two per month) by visiting http://www.gmfamilyfirst.com and following the prompts.
A similar process can be used for getting the authorization number for a family member.
All you need is the prospect's date of birth and last four digits of his or her Social Security number.
Those without Internet access can call 1-800-235-4646 to use the new, self-serve phone process.
