:mad I Just got off the phone with Hummer over a problem with my drivers seat. After having the H2 fro about a month, the drivers seat would slowly creep rearward not returning to its memory position upon returning from the exit position. After two visits to the dealer they replaced a gear under the seat. Two weeks after that the seat started to creep forward over a period of time to the point that after a week you would be up to the steering wheel. After the H2 had been in 4 times for this problem I was advised that they couldn't fix it until they were able to repicate the problem. I had marked on tape the movement for the dealer to see. I had to make some nasty calls back to Hummer & GM before they finally agreed to replce the memory module. The local GM rep told me they would replce it not because they had to but for customer satisfaction! Sincew when do they not have to fix your vehicle under waranty? Has anyone else had this problem? :boxing

Several months after I got mine, the driver's seat decided to reverse itself! Forward was now back; and conversly. When exiting, the seat would pin me to the wheel instead of going back.
Dealer diagnosed it as a defective module under the seat, and replaced it. All's been well since.

More than likely they replaced it due to the fact that you could have claimed lemon law on it.
Here in Illinois, 3 times to the dealer for the same issue and it's considered a lemon law candidate.

Had the exact same problem. After about 48 hours of the seat being set, it would slowly creap backbacks and lose its settings. Took it to my dealer and explained the problem. He said this is a known problem and replaced the seat memory module - no additional questions asked. Way to go Huber Hummer in Omaha, NE.
