I just installed an SMA rear tire carrier and I have 3 pieces left . Thats a scary thought. The main 1 that puzzles me is a large black "L" shaped bracket . The other 2 pieces are a black plastic plug item ( 1.25" ) in diameter and a nut. The 4 main pieces are #1 left latch
#2 right hinge piece
#3 actual carrier
#4 license plate holder
Does anyone have any idea what my dreaded extra pieces are , or where they go.

The pieces left over are for the jack mount when removing the
spare tire carrier from inside the truck. The bracket and bolt you have secure the upper part of the jack mount to the body and the plastic plug covers the hole in the left rear panel where the stock tire carrier mounted.

I am taking the rear tire off my H2 as I do not like the way it weighs down the rear. It does not feel right. Anyone interested in buying it from me cheap..Just let me know.
