Flygirl came up with an awesome question -- what is the best reaction you've ever gotten to your H2?

I've gotten lots of "Is that a Hummer?!" and "Can I see the inside?" from folks at the gas station, the mailman, UPS/FedEx delivery, people at the grocery store, etc. Also get quite a few people running off the road in front of me since their eyes are glued to their rearview mirror. And you can ALWAYS expect a reaction from kids. But this weekend took the cake!

I took my yellow monster to Lowe's (mega-home improvement store, for those of you who don't have local ones -- it's like Home Depot) during the post-Thanksgiving shopping frenzy. I swear, it was like a movie -- as soon as I started circling the parking lot looking for a space, at least 20 people in different parts of the parking lot just STOPPED in their tracks and stared. It was actually kinda creepy, I didn't know if they were gonna rush the vehicle or what! After a good 10-15 seconds or so they started moving again, but I NEVER would have thought that a vehicle could cause a reaction like that. What fun. :cool

Here are my best H2 stories...

Over 2 hours late returning to the pay parking lot, was absolutely relieved to see the H2 still there. But, OMG, two parking-lot-police are chatting in front of it... am assuming they're discussing how to tow it - or - how many $100's to make the next ticket out for. Surprisingly, no paper on the windshield?!

Apparently, one guy was so excited, he radio'd his buddy from another lot to come check out the truck. After 15 minutes of H2-talk, drove away a very thrilled ticket-free... and wasn't even wearing a skirt!

Also, once returned to vehicle to find a group of Japanese tourists standing in front of it taking turns snapping pix!? Too funny!

Dec. 4th went to watch Jermaine Taylor and Joppy fight 12 rounds. I know cruel and animalistic. Well we had went down to the River Market in Little Rock, AR to eat before fight. Yes we are a blood thirsty lot, LOL. Well at the fight one of the guys with me asked me a question about my 2005 Stealth Gray H2 and we were talking and a guy a row in front of us politely excused himself and said was that your H2 at the Market with the DADYLUV plates, Yes I answered. He said were You parked to where You coud see it,No. He said they walked over to look at it and then others came and then more. He said I was worried a Policeman was going to come buy and think there was a fight on. Anyway they all told Me how nice it was at least as nice as He has ever seen and I thanked them and asked them to talk the H2's up there are alot of ecoterroist going around and damaging H2's. One guy said if I'm near it will not take long for the guy to figure he made a mistake and shortly after He'll remember he is a guy and not a panty waist after a few calculated blows. Anyway that was when everyone within 20 seats got to laughing like Jay Leno just told a joke, with it being between rounds.

Then after fight waiting to get in line like everyone else 3 teens and the youngest girl in front passenger flipped Me off and stuck out her tongue and they pulled away. I got a little upset and where we were the gravel lot had canyons running down it so everyone was waiting to get on pavement. I cut wheel jumping ditches pulled up beside them there eyes half dollar size and said envie does not become you and see how far it is to the gate to get to the pavement your driving on to get to it to turn out on to that road, well I'll be there in 5 seconds turn in front of who ever is waiting, as there is a culvert dip and all stop in front of it, to get on pavement and be gone. Someday maybe You will grow up and can afford to just have a truck that can do it because You want to make a point. I did what I said with my riders scared white by the ride and then laughing cause I'm the only one they know who would do it to make a point. BUT it is easy to do what seems impossible when You know what Your truck is able to do and most have no idea.
