YellowH2 03-22-2003, 09:59 AM Time to get a second job.
03YellowH2 03-22-2003, 04:51 PM for sure.
For me at least it seems kind of strange to buy an H2 and then pump serious money in to, to try and make it go fast. If you want a fast car buy a vet, or truck buy a Ford Lightning (god I can't believe I said buy a Ford).
Guess if you have money to burn go for it... Probably pretty damm impressive.
I think Breathless has a Supercharge package as well that they claim hits 750HP
Scott97 03-24-2003, 01:15 PM Cool.
But I've got to wonder how its going to affect miles per gallon. :)
03YellowH2 03-25-2003, 07:15 AM I think at least in the case of the Breathless Performance Packages they claim significant improvements in gas mileage.
How, I don't know. Probably where that engineering degree would have come in handy had I paid attention in school...
:)
YellowH2 04-05-2003, 10:48 AM Breathless performance has a supercharger package listed at 750 hp. They claim 19 mpg at 55 mph. 0- 60 in 4.5 seconds!
BigH2 04-05-2003, 11:12 AM Whipple makes a supercharger. You can install it yourself over a weekend from what I've heard.
It's $4299 at superchargers online.

That's very respectable. In a couple of years, I'd like to put a supercharger on my hemi.
BigH2 04-06-2003, 12:07 PM If it improves gas mileage by that much you can justify the price to your wife! ;) Just think how much you'll save in gas costs! :p
H2Bill 04-08-2003, 06:13 PM I have the Whipple on my H2 and there is a marked improvement in the performance. I have one of the first applications for the H2 from Whipple and they had not fixed the problem with the torque management in the PCM so I had to have Ed Wright program all of the T/M out. It runs great now. You can look at my sig and see most of the mods that I have done.http://www.h2fanatic.com/photopost/data/500/106Pic00053-thumb.jpg
tbyrne 04-09-2003, 08:23 PM This package sounds pretty sweet! My Suburban has the 8.1 motor that is fed by a Whipple supercharger with intercooler. Other mods include a Volant induction, The Other Guys headers customer programming and a Yank converter. The truck ran 14.54 @ 92 MPH. Not to bad for something that weighs over 6700 lbs :)

RayH2 05-05-2003, 02:27 PM I would like to have a Supercharge catalogue too.
whipplecharged 05-12-2003, 01:24 AM Check out www.xtremeflow.com if you want to improve your fuel milage. They offer exhaut, cold air intake, flah programming that takes out the torque management and other performance upgrades like the Whipplesupercharger at great prices. It was the prototype for the Whipplesupercharger production kit and the flash programming. There H2 is making over 500HP.
Polaknuts 05-23-2003, 08:55 PM Hey Ed, shoot me one too please
Ed Potter @ LPE 12-20-2003, 08:57 AM We recently finished another H2 S/C engine package for a customer in Florida, and it produced very good power!
I drove it , and I can tell you, it really wakes up that big truck! The lazy feeling off the line is gone, and it actually pins you back in the seat! then you watch that huge hood start to raise up, and I swear you get the feeling you're driving a Vette!
One member asked why would anybody want to do this? I can tell you, the look on a Mustang or Camaro drivers face as you blast past him in a Hummer is priceless!!
We also have some new bolt on products for the H2 that can be seen here:

Check these products out, and feel free to give me a call if I can answer any questions.
