Just wondering, but has anyone else had a problem with the factory nerf bars rusting at the welds? I was looking into possibly replacing them with a stainless steel version, but wasn't sure if that was the right route to go. I know I am looking at spending at least $400(most likely more) for a new pair of stainless steel ones, but is it worth the money?? :confused1

nerf bar (http://www.racepages.com/brand/kool_vue/nerf_bars.html) are totally lame. If you take your truck off road, you will bend them the first time you hit a rock. I ruined both of mine within 12 months of installation. Build or buy some rock sliders.
