Which programmer really offers the best options and performance?:banghead :banghead
whipplecharged 09-05-2003, 12:33 AM With the Xtreme package (exhaust, cold air intake and programmer) you can pick up 70 HP and 2 1/2 mpg on your H2 for $1199.99. You can't go wrong and you don't need to change your octane level to mid or hi if your currently using 87.
The Xtemeflow powerfalsh will do just about the same as a Predator and it is also a scan tool like the Predator.
Whipplechareged :)
drmiles 09-05-2003, 08:59 AM Thanks,
I have been leaning toward the Xtreme products, but wanted to get as much info before ordering.
MSGH2 09-08-2003, 08:57 AM I'm looking at HYPERTECH Power Programming. Any comments on this product? :flag
whipplecharged 09-08-2003, 01:28 PM The only thing is that the Hypertech will not take out your torque management. That is the main thing you want to do.
Only the Xtremeflow Power Flash and the Predator will do that.

JGMACHINE 10-25-2003, 12:59 PM Ok, the way I figured it out, I need to drive my H2 34,333 miles with the $1030 Extreem package before it begins to pay for itsself. Taking into consideration $1.75 gas per gallon and a 10 to 12 increase in MPG.
Average cost per mile at 10mpg=0.18 per mile
Average cost per mile at 12 mpg = 0.15 per mile
difference =0.03 cents per mile.
$1030/0.03 = 34,333 miles
Not looking at the performance increase aspect, is this mod worth it just to pick up 2 mpg? did I do the math correct?
drmiles 10-28-2003, 09:40 AM Yes,
The Xtreme muffler, power programmer and breathless stage 1 intake is worth the money. Although the economics is not the greatest return on your investment, I didn't buy the hummer for gas mileage..
The increase in power and sound as well as the improved economy is well worth the $$$$.
By the way gas mileage is bck down to 11.3 avg due to lead foot syndrome..
Gas mileage off Road is around 3.0 mpg, depending on the size of the hill or depth of the hole..
Also idling for extended periods hurts the mileage as well.
Oh well if I could do it over I would do it again!!
Jerry:party :cheers
For us new H2 owners, do these modifcations void the warrenty?
