: Anyone gotten a deal lately?

I've noticed a lot of H2's sitting on my local dealers lot as of late. Seven months ago you couldn't touch one if you paid for it in gold! Something about a 60 vehicle back order, 5000 over msrp, etc.... Anyhow I was wondering if anyone has been able to make a decent deal on an 03' now that the 04's are closer to market.

How did you order the H2 from the factory? Which number did you call?

Thanks,

Brian here

I'm from So. California, Hummer capital of the world.
As I understand it, more Hummers are sold here
then the rest of the US put together.
And 95% of them will never see dart ..... But mine will.

I'm in SE Georgia and the prices here are getting more reasonable. I'm not sure if I should wait for September to see if they offer any incentives on the 03 models. Any ideas?

It seems that there is so much inventory today, and with the next year's models coming about Oct to Nov, there will be discounts off of sticker price. I would expect that in four months you can buy a new unit for $5000 off the sticker. That is a huge discount!

Wait and see!:cool

I'm from Toronto and recently went to Roy Foss Hummer for a test drive. They have a considerable back-log of 2003 and the salesman hinted that they are a little concerned in sitting on like $1M+ CAD inventory.

I'm disappointed at the $ CAD MSRP. If I convert the $US Hum with Luxury package + sunroof + 3rd row seat to CAD it's like $73K CAD ... Roy Foss has that listed as $83 CAD !! Seems Canadian hummer has a castrated Adventure Package and/or they are taking advantage of they're monopoly in Toronto.

Also regarding the Halifax poster can you provide more info on taxes/border crap etc. buying direct?

Happy Hummin!

After getting frustrated with my local dealer here in Tennessee I bought one from a dealer in south florida (second largest market) for $4k less and shipped it up. I got a Pewter Lux pack w/ front brush guard w/lights, rear guards, lots of xtra chrome adds ons, a a few more options for $52K. Not a steal, but a beter deal than local, maybe local dealers will learn we'll travel for $$ Cost $700 to ship up here

Quick grab shot in front of the Anaheim Pond. The 2003 worlds gymnastics championships are going on right now!
My company (Photomation) designed and produced all the graphics for the event.
I hope that I didn't misled anybody, but at the dealership they keep pushing all the chrome doodads.
On the yellow h2 I think it starts looking a little “ Mr T”.
I looking to get out in the next two weeks and get better photos.

Okay - I understand. Extra doo-dads cost extra bucks. So, does that H2 have a chrome grille? I like the color contract in the JPG link that you posted.

I spoke to a salesperson today (8-27-03) in Florida and was told that GM was going to have a Hummer "Blow Out" this weekend. Keep your eyes and ears open.

September is almost over. Does anyone think that GM is going to offer more incentives? Maybe 0 percent financing? I'm ready to buy but I just think with the current inventory at the dealerships around me being in the hundreds that better incentives are to come. Any rumors?

Jeff

Try Edmark Superstore in Nampa Idaho. All their "best prices" are published on line at www.edmarkhummer.com and they are for real. I bought mine there 30 days ago because I won't do businees with the local dealer. Picked out what I wanted on line, called them on a Friday evening to confirm, $141 airline ticket and flew there on Sat morning. They picked me up in the H2, 45 minutes to sign the papers, absolutely no hard sell or BS, and I was back in Vegas by 11 that night. $5,100 under MSRP. Most pleasant vehicle purchase I've every made and love the H2!

I bought an H2 last week with lux pkg, sunroof, air suspension, 3rd row seat under the GMS program (www.gmsupplierdiscount.com) for $50451 (MSRP $55140). On top of that I got the $2000 rebate.

Anyone know what the employee purchase price is? I just found out that my company has an arrangement with GM to get slightly above the employee price. Naturally, I bought my '03 last December without the discount. With the new lower prices, I am thinking/hoping of selling my '03 and getting an '04 for not much out-a-pocket. Not many miles, and in great shape, so I'm just toying with the idea.
