ACCESSORIES TAKE H2 TO A NEW LEVEL
HUMMER Accessories takes the rugged refinement of the H2 seriously. Recognizing the fiercely utilitarian applications of the H2, along with the vehicle's interior comforts, GM has built customized accessories that will satisfy the strong desire of H2 owners to personalize their vehicles.
"GM offers several accessories that enhance the appearance and utility of the H2," said Nancy Philippart, GM Service and Parts Operations executive director - GM Accessories Business Channel. "Since the H2 is noted as much for its luxury, comfortable ride and handling as it is for its off-road ability, HUMMER Accessories seek ways to complement the vehicle's refined looks and rugged functionality."
HUMMER Accessories provides more than 40 unique H2 accessories, most created by the vehicle designers. Engineered specifically for the H2, these accessories passed rigorous safety and durability tests. Dealers can install the accessories in the seamless fashion of regular factory options, prior to customer delivery.
Functional accessories
H2 tubular assist steps feature frame-mounted, rough textured step pads and a strong tubular frame design that help owners and passengers get in and out of the H2 and make it easier to reach items on the roof.
Tubular taillamp guards protect the H2's taillamps from off-road debris, flying gravel and underbrush. Designed to protect and complement the vehicle's appearance, the taillamp guards are cast in aluminum alloy with a polyester powder.
The roof-rack crossbars increase the H2's exterior functionality, freeing up interior vehicle space. The crossbars come with two assemblies that attach to the factory roof rails and act as the base mount for all H2 bike, ski or hard cargo carriers.

Hard Cargo Carrier - This hard surfaced, aerodynamic cargo carrier comes in handy for larger items that owners want to keep out of the passenger area, but still away from the elements. It's fully locking and mounts to the required roof-rack crossbars.
Roof-Mounted Bike Carrier - Each bike carrier accommodates one bicycle. A dual-locking design and anti-theft hardware helps keep the bike safe when owners are away from the vehicle, while quick-release attachments help make loading and unloading a snap.
Roof-Mounted Off-Road Lamps - The lamps come with four 6-inch (152.4-mm), 12V, 55-watt lights that mount to the roof-rack crossbars with sliding adjustable brackets.
17-inch Chrome Wheel - Heavy-duty forged wheel is built for off-roading, while its chrome appearance looks great on city streets.
Brush Grille Guard - Constructed of one-inch (25.4-mm) diameter tubular steel, the brush grille guard attaches to the front grille for a customized appearance that offers protection when driving on- or off-road.
Front Hitch-Mounted Portable Winch - The winch features a no-load-line speed of 38 feet (11.6 m) per minute and three-stage planetary gearing.
Magnetic Truck Shields - These magnetic truck shields simply "stick" to the sides of the H2 to protect the body from abrasions while off-roading. They are custom cut to fit the contours of the H2 perfectly and come in a variety of patterns and colors.
HUMMER Tactical Mountain Bike - The bike is durable, functional and tough. It was designed to be rugged enough to dropline from a military aircraft, durable enough to traverse any terrain at high speeds, easy enough to fold into a three-feet by three-feet by six-inch (.9-m by .9-m by 253-mm) portable size, and agile enough to unfold and ride in less than 30 seconds.
