Hey All,

I've been a member here for a while and a Supporting Tuner on the Corvette Forum for 3 years or so and just sitting back watching the trends. So far it seems that the superchargers for the H2 are the most popular HP upgrade so that is where we figured we would start offering a package based on the Magnuson products. We can do anything from a simple air filter or cold air intake package to a complete turn key C5R 427 with Twin Turbos. We also can arrange full audio/video installs, wheels and tires, raising and lowering and about anything you can imagine.

Our Stage 1 Supercharger Package uses the polished Radix Intercooled Magnuson polished supercharger, boost gauge, complete install & chassis dyno tuning and their 3yr/36K mile powertrain warranty. Normal retail pricing will be $7895 plus tax and out introductory price will be $6895 plus tax.

Our Stage 2 Supercharger Package will have the same components as the Sage 1 plus a Volant Cold Air Intake and Corsa Exhaust. Normal retail price will be $8995 plus tax and our introductory price will be $7995.

Our Stage 3 Supercharger Package will have the same components as the Stage 2 plus include R&R of the engine to install forged pistons, moly rings, Comp blower cam & springs, complete inspection, balance & blueprinting of the rotaing assembly and block. Normal retail price will be $13995 plus tax and our introductory price will be $12495 plus tax.

We chose the Magnuson for this initial package for its quality, intercooler, pricing and powertrain warranty. We will also offer the non-intercooled Whipple and intercooled Vortech superchargers also.

The introductory pricing will be available for the first 5 packages sold or through the end of August at this time. Transport to our shop in the Orlando, FL area from anywhere in the world is can be arranged.

We will also be fitting an H2 for a Twin Turbo Package in the next couple of months and will let you know the progress as we go along there.

Thanks for reading this and look forward to hearing from you all. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them here or e-mail me.

Mike

Mike,
I just bought an electric supercharger on ebay. Can you dyno tune it?

Tom;)

Tom,

Since it is an electric supercharger, it really needs to be tuned on a current eddy dyno which I have access to :p Remember that is is always best to upgrade to a flux capacitor sub-system when using an electric supercharger also for best results.

Your turn to buy dinner by the way ;)

Thanks for your posting regarding supercharging. I would be interested in the pros and cons of the Whipple to the Magnus.

Your posting also discusses capabilities of raising and lowering the H2. I have the adventure series with the on-board air compressor, and am interested in lowering by 2-3", but also raising by 4-6". I would want to be able to do this without sacrificing off-road durability or capabilities. All the while without leaving the cab of the truck, preferably at the turn of a dial or the touch of a pre-set button. Do you have a solution?

Mike good to see you aver here from the vette forum. Would like to do something but not sure what. I have a Mag on the C5. Not sure what would be the best for the H-2. What is you take? Please keep me in the loop. Mlewis@gbf-inc.com:lurk

Harrisr1,

Of course you will get a bunch of different opinions on supercharging, but I prefer the Magnacharger/Magnuson over the Whipple because of both the intercooled option and the 3yr/36K mile powertrain warranty. The Whipple works well also and would be a tough choice if it also had the same options.

As far as the air ride setup, I have been talking to a GM engineer buddy of mine and we are looking to actually modify the module to work with a modified air ride setup or just modify the current air ride and still work with the current module. Once I have an H2 here for a bit and can do some testing, more will be known.

biglew,

Thanks for the welcome. If you like the Mag on the Vette, you will like it on the H2 also. Clean factory look with good power, intercooler and warranty.

Later All :cheers

Both supercharger kits make good power. The Magna kit runs more boost intercooled to make about the same power as a Whipple non-intercooled and less boost. The only thing I have heard is that the Magna is noiey.

The non-intercooled version of the Magnacharger whined alot (especially while towing). The new intercooled version is pretty quiet. Definately doesn't make as much noise as the Whipple on my 8.1 does at idle.
