Does anyone have a suggestion for a good quality rear view mirror with the built in color monitor in it ???? I have researched several of them & so far I like the Voyager AOM40MR & 50MR versions because they have 2 selectable inputs and they look good, also like the SAVV with the 5" monitor, looks like the overall winner so far. Any suggestions would be welcome. I intend to hook it up to a backup camera and the DVD system.

Now this is a good product, installed and working great, looks good to. Used in conjuction with a wide angle (130 Degree) camera, this is a winner.

I would have recommended this one: http://www.suvxccessory.com/xccessory/uha-hitchcamch.html
Its Plug & Play and you don't have to replace Mirror.

Hello Radioman,

I have a couple questions for you about the mirror:
- Originally you where leaning towards the SAVV mirror but then changed, any particular reason why?
- Does the mirror have a dimming feature for headlights at night like the factory mirror?
- Do you miss the compass/temp (or is that integrated somehow)?
- It says it comes with an infrared camera. I presume this is for night time? Does it switch smartly between infrared and normal cameras?
- The infrared camera looks bulky...how'd you install that?
- Who's camera did you use for the "daytime" mode?

Regards,

How much was the total cost, and do you have any installed pics of it?
